The founding partners, Gerardo Melguizo Gotera and Cristina Rodríguez Peña, have been practising our professional work together since 1989. This was when we set up our first independent office in Playa de lasAméricas, in the municipal district of Adeje. Today, we can offer our services not just in the southern region, but also in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where we have had our own office located in the heart of the old city, of the renovated central part of the capital, for several years.
Two aspects are brought together in our professional work: on the one hand, there is our work as practising lawyers with particular emphasis on civil procedural law, and on the other, we have been working as professionals in the administration of estates, with substantiated experience in the difficulties that condominium property raise. This circumstance enables us to provide comprehensive consultancy to our associations from their incorporation to possible claims against bad debtors.
The aim of our service idea is to provide a professional/client relationship, extended over time, with the objective of offering an ongoing service both to local clients and to outsiders, as well as to small and medium sized businesses, with the commitment of working under the highest standard of ethics and confidentiality which, in any event, is guaranteed by the respective professional associations.

She has lived in England and other countries for many years and her experience in customer services enables her to deal with your questions and concerns in the quickest and most effective way.

She is responsible for Administration and Accounting. After a period of over twenty years in charge of community accounts, her experience enables her to attend to and deal with any matter related with your communal expenses and insurance claims.
MAY MENDOZA AFONSO
ACCOUNTING AND SUPPLIER SERVICES
With a degree in business and extensive experience in private companies, she joined our team in March 2017.
Apart from her work in support of different kinds of accounting, she is also the head of attention and payment to suppliers.
All the employees of Despacho Melguizo Rodríguez receive ongoing training, mainly through attending face-to-face courses, whether those run by the Official College of Property Administrators, the Lawyers’ College or private companies devoted to specialised training within the sector of law and property administration.
